L’espulsione dell’USAID dalla Russia era uno sviluppo a lungo atteso e gradito. Mosca ha ripetutamente messo in guardia i suoi partner statunitensi, attraversouna serie di canali, che la tendenza dell’USAID ad interferire negli affari interni della Russia era inaccettabile e che, in particolare, il radicalismo delle sue ONG presenti nel Caucaso non sarebbe stato tollerato. Quando il 1° ottobre, la decisione presa dalla leadership russa avrà effetto, il personale dell’USAID di Mosca, che aveva ostinatamente ignorato tali segnali, dovrà fare le valigie e trasferirsi in altri paesi accusati di avere un regime autoritario…
In America Latina, l’USAID ha da tempo la reputazione di organizzazione nei cui uffici ospita, difatti, i centri di intelligence che progettano l’indebolimento dei governi legittimi di un certo numero di paesi del continente. La verità è che l’USAID quale ospite di operativi della CIA e delle agenzie di intelligence della difesa degli Stati Uniti, non è poi così ignota, così come quello di aver avuto unruolo in ogni colpo di stato in America Latina, così come nel sostegno finanziario, tecnico e ideologico delle rispettive opposizioni. L’USAID cerca anche, in genere, d’infiltrare le forze armate e le forze dell’ordine locali, reclutandovi degli agenti pronti a dare una mano all’opposizione, quando ce ne sia l’occasione.
In diversa misura, tutti i leader populisti latinoamericani sentono la pressione dell’USAID. Senza dubbio, il Venezuela di H. Chavez è l’obiettivo numero uno della lista dei nemici dell’USAID. Il supporto agli oppositori del regime del paese si è ridotto notevolmente, a partire dalle enormi proteste del 2002-2004, mentre la nazione ha visto il governo concentrarsi sui problemi socio-economici, l’assistenza sanitaria, l’edilizia residenziale e le politiche giovanili. L’opposizione ha dovuto iniziare a fare affidamento sempre più sulle campagne nei media, circa l’80% dei quali sono gestiti dal campo anti-Chavez.
Stimolando il panico con voci su imminenti interruzioni dell’approvvigionamento alimentare, con relazioni che esagerano il livello di criminalità in Venezuela (dove, in realtà, c’è meno criminalità che nella maggior parte dei paesi amici degli Stati Uniti), e con accuse di incompetenza del governo nel rispondere alle catastrofi tecniche, divenute sospettosamente frequenti mentre le elezioni si avvicinano, che poi vengono diffuse presso il pubblico nell’ambito di uno scenario sovversivo che coinvolge la rete di organizzazioni non governative venezuelane. In alcuni casi, l’appartenenza a queste ultime si limita a 3-4 persone, ma assieme al forte sostegno dei media, l’opposizione è in grado di dimostrare di essere una forza inquietante. I commentatori pro-Chavez temono che gli agenti dell’USAID contenderanno l’esito della votazione e, in modo sincronico, gruppi paramilitari trascineranno le città venezuelane nel caos, per dare agli Stati Uniti un pretesto per l’intervento militare.
L’USAID è nota per aver contribuito al recente fallito colpo di Stato in Ecuador, nel corso del quale il presidente R. Correa era scampato a un attentato. Le forze di elite della polizia, fortemente sponsorizzate dagli Stati Uniti e dai media che hanno strumentalizzato la legislazione liberale sulla libertà di espressione siglata da Correa, sono stati gli attori chiave della sollevazione. Successivamente, ci sono voluti i seri sforzi di Correa per fare approvare inparlamento un codice multimediale riveduto, contrastando le pressioni delle lobby dell’USAID.
Diversi tentativi per rovesciare il governo di Evo Morales, hanno chiaramente utilizzato il potenziale operativo dell’USAID in Bolivia. Secondo la giornalista e autrice Eva Golinger, l’USAID ha speso almeno 85 mioni di dollari per destabilizzare il regime del paese. Inizialmente, gli Stati Uniti speravano di ottenere il risultato desiderato sollevando i separatisti, in prevalenza bianchi, della provincia di Santa Cruz. Quando il piano fallì, l’USAID passò a corteggiare le comunità indigene con cui le ONG didattico-ambientaliste avevano iniziato a mettersi in contatto, alcuni anni prima. Resoconti disorientanti furono forniti agliindiani, secondo cui la costruzione di una superstrada nella loro regione avrebbe lasciato le loro comunità senza terra, e le conseguenti marce di protesta indiane nella capitale, erosero la posizione pubblica di Morales. Ma poco dopo emerse che molte di quelle marce, tra cui quelle inscenate dal gruppo TIPNIS, erano state coordinate dall’ambasciata degli Stati Uniti. Il lavoro era stato svolto daun funzionario dell’ambasciata, Eliseo Abelo, un elemento dell’USAID che si occupava della popolazione indigena boliviana. Le sue conversazioni telefoniche con i leader della marcia furono intercettate dall’agenzia del controspionaggio boliviana e furono rese pubbliche, così dovette fuggire dal paese, mentre l’inviato diplomatico statunitense in Bolivia si lamentava delle intercettazioni telefoniche.
Nel giugno 2012, i ministri degli esteri dei paesi del blocco ALBA hanno approvato una risoluzione sull’USAID, che dice: “Citando la pianificazione e il coordinamento degli aiuti stranieri come pretesto, l’USAID s’intromette apertamente negli affari interni di paesi sovrani, sponsorizzando le ONG e le attività di protesta volte a destabilizzare quei governi legittimi che non sono amichevoli dal punto di vista di Washington. I documenti resi pubblici dagli archivi del Dipartimento di Stato, sono la prova che il sostegno finanziario veniva fornito ai partiti e gruppi di opposizione nei paesi dell’ALBA, una pratica equivalente ad aperte e audaci interferenze per conto degli Stati Uniti. Nella maggior parte dei paesi dell’ALBA, l’USAID opera attraverso le sue estese reti di ONG, che gestisce al di fuori del quadro normativo, e anche finanziando inmodo illecito media e gruppi politici. Siamo convinti che i nostri paesi non hanno bisogno del sostegno finanziario esterno per mantenere la democrazia stabilita dagli Stati latino-americani e caraibici, o di organizzazioni guidate esternamente che tentano di indebolire o mettere da parte le nostre istituzioni governative”. I ministri hanno chiesto alla leadership di ALBA di espellere immediatamente i rappresentanti dell’USAID, poiché minacciano la sovranità e la stabilità politica dei paesi in cui operano. La risoluzione è stata firmata da Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Repubblica Dominicana, Nicaragua e Venezuela.
Lo scorso maggio Paul J. Bonicelli è stato confermato, dal Senato degli StatiUniti, assistente amministratore dell’USAID per l’America Latina e i Caraibi. L’ex capo della USAID, Mark Feuerstein, acquisì una tale notorietà, in America Latina, come cervello dietro i golpe contro i legittimi capi di Stato di Honduras e Paraguay, che i politici del continente hanno semplicemente dovuto imparare a evitarlo. La credibilità dell’USAID si riduce sempre più, ed è improbabile che Bonicelli, un ricercatore e un conservatore, sarà in grado di invertirne la tendenza. Il suo curriculum comprende la guida di diverse divisioni dell’USAID e la ‘promozione della democrazia’ di concerto con il Consiglio di Sicurezza Nazionale degli Stati Uniti. La visione di Bonicelli si riflette nelle pagine della rivista Foreign Policy. Per Bonicelli, Chavez non è un democratico, ma un capo ansioso di sbarazzarsi di tutti i suoi avversari. Il nuovo capo dell’USAID sostiene che, a parte la minaccia della droga, la visione di Chavez ispira i suoi seguaci populisti in Ecuador, Bolivia e Nicaragua, ponendo la più grande sfida agli interessi degli Stati Uniti in America Latina. Bonicelli esorta, pertanto, gli Stati Uniti a sostenere l’opposizione venezuelana in ogni modo possibile, fornendole supporto materiale e addestramento, in modo che possa  prendere parte a pieno alle elezioni e alle attività civili. Un altro articolo di Bonicelli ritrae l’attuale evoluzione della Russia come una cupa regressione e uno scivolamento verso il ‘neo-zarismo’. Sulla base di tale percezione, Bonicelli sostiene che l’occidente dovrebbe ritenere la Russia e i suoi dirigenti responsabili di tutto ciò che riguarda la libertà e la democrazia, anche se la libertà nel paese è importante solo per una manciata di persone, e cita il caso della Polonia, dove gli Stati Uniti supportarono Lech Walesa.
Sono scarse le probabilità che una riforma della USAID possa ripristinarne la credibilità in America Latina. Attenendosi a una ristretta lista di priorità, l’USAID punta su pochi programmi secondari e chiude i suoi uffici in Cile, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Panama e prossimamente Brasile. L’USAID ritiene che questi paesi abbiano già una forma ragionevole di democrazia, e che non hanno più bisogno di assistenza, in modo che l’agenzia possa scagliare tutta la sua forza contro i suoi nemici principali: i populisti e Cuba, e fare del suo meglio per far abbattere i politici ostili a Washington in tutto l’emisfero occidentale. Il bilancio dichiarato dell’USAID per l’America Latina è di circa 750 milioni di dollari, ma le stime indicano che la parte segreta dei finanziamenti, che viene sfruttata dalla CIA, potrebbe arrivare a due volte tale importo.

La diffusione su internet degli estratti del film L’innocenza dei musulmani ha scatenato manifestazioni rabbiose nel mondo, una delle quali è degenerata a Bengasi. L'ambasciatore degli Stati Uniti in Libia e membri della sua scorta sono stati uccisi. A prima vista, il caso si situa lungo una lunga serie che va daiVersetti satanici di Salman Rushdie ai roghi del Corano del pastore Terry Jones. Tuttavia, questo nuovo attacco si differenzia dagli altri in quanto il film non è destinato al pubblico occidentale, ma è stato concepito unicamente come uno strumento di provocazione indirizzato ai musulmani.  In termini politici, questo caso può essere analizzato in due modi a seconda che lo si osservi sul piano tattico come una manipolazione anti-Usa o sul piano strategico come unattacco psicologico anti-musulmano.

Il film è stato prodotto da un gruppo composto da ebrei sionisti con doppia cittadinanza israelo-statunitense e da un copto egiziano. Era pronto da diversi mesi ed è stato utilizzato al momento voluto per provocare disordini rivolti contro gli Stati Uniti. Agenti israeliani sono stati dispiegati in diverse grandicittà, con il compito di guidare l'ira della folla contro obiettivi statunitensi o copti (mai israeliani). Non sorprendentemente, l'effetto massimo è stato raggiunto a Bengasi.

La popolazione di Bengasi è nota per ospitare dei gruppi particolarmente reazionari e razzisti. Ricordiamo che, nel caso delle vignette su Maometto, i salafiti avevano attaccato il consolato danese. In ottemperanza alla Convenzione di Vienna, il governo libico di Muammar el-Gheddafi aveva dovuto schierare dei soldati per proteggere la rappresentanza diplomatica. La repressione della rivolta aveva causato numerose vittime. In seguito, gli occidentali che volevano rovesciare il regime libico avevano finanziato pubblicazioni salafite che accusavano il colonnello Gheddafi di aver protetto il consolato danese perché sarebbe stato lui stesso lo sponsor delle caricature. Il 15 febbraio 2011, i salafiti avevano organizzato a Bengasi un evento commemorativo della strage, nel corso del quale scoppiò una sparatoria, che segnò l'inizio della rivolta in Cirenaica spianando la strada per l'intervento della NATO.

La polizia libica arrestò tre membri delle forze speciali italiane, checonfessarono di aver sparato dai tetti sia sui manifestanti sia sulla poliziaper creare confusione. Tenuti prigionieri nel corso di tutta la guerra, furono liberati in occasione della presa della capitale da parte della NATO e furono esfiltrati verso Malta su una piccola barca da pesca nella quale mi trovavo con loro.

Questa volta, la manipolazione della folla di Bengasi da parte di agenti israeliani aveva lo scopo di assassinare l'ambasciatore statunitense, un atto di guerra senza precedenti, dai tempi del bombardamento della USS Liberty da parte della marina israeliana nel 1967. Inoltre, questo è il primo assassinio dal 1979 diun ambasciatore degli Stati Uniti nell'esercizio delle sue funzioni. E in questo caso è ancora più grave il fatto che in un paese in cui il governo è una pura finzione giuridica, l'ambasciatore USA non è un semplice diplomatico, ma ricopre la funzione di governatore, di capo dello Stato de facto.

Nel corso delle ultime settimane, i più alti responsabili militari degli Stati Uniti sono entrati in conflitto aperto con il governo israeliano. Hanno moltiplicato le dichiarazioni che attestano la loro volontà di rompere il ciclo diguerre iniziate con l’11 settembre (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libia, Siria), mentre gli accordi informali del 2001 ne prevedono altre ancora (Sudan, Somalia, Iran ). Un primo colpo di avvertimento si è materializzato con l'attacco missilistico contro l’aereo del Capo dello Stato Maggiore congiunto delle forze armate statunitensi, il generale Martin Dempsey. Il secondo avvertimento è più brutale.

Per altro verso, se si considera questa vicenda in termini di psicologia sociale, appare come un attacco frontale contro le credenze dei musulmani. In questo, non è diversa dall’episodio in cui le Pussy Riot violavano la libertà di culto nella cattedrale ortodossa di Cristo Salvatore e dalle varie esibizioni di pornografia concettuale che ne seguirono. Queste diverse operazioni mirano adesacralizzare le società che resistono al progetto di dominazione globale.

Nelle società democratiche e multiculturali, il sacro si esprime soltanto nella sfera privata. Tuttavia, un nuovo spazio sacro collettivo si sta formando. Gli stati dell'Europa occidentale hanno leggi della memoria che hanno trasformato un evento storico, la distruzione degli ebrei d’Europa da parte dei nazisti, in un fatto religioso (la «Shoah», secondo la terminologia ebraica, o l’«Olocausto» secondo il vocabolario evangelico). Tale reato viene allora elevato al rango di evento unico a scapito delle vittime di altri massacri, incluse le altre vittime del nazismo. La messa in discussione del dogma, vale a dire, l'interpretazione teologica del fatto storico, è passibile di sanzioni penali come un tempo lo era la bestemmia. Allo stesso modo, nel 2001, gli USA, gli Stati membri dell'Unione europea, e molti dei loro alleati hanno imposto per decreto a tutta la loro popolazione un minuto di silenzio in memoria delle vittime degli attentati dell'11 settembre. Questa iniziativa si accompagnava a un’interpretazione ideologica delle cause della strage.

In entrambi i casi, l’essere stati uccisi in quanto ebrei o perché statunitensi conferisce uno status speciale alle vittime davanti al quale il resto dell'umanità è invitato a inchinarsi.

In occasione delle ultime Olimpiadi a Londra, le delegazioni israeliana e statunitense hanno cercato di estendere questo spazio sacro imponendo unminuto di silenzio durante la cerimonia di apertura, l'evento televisivo più seguito al mondo. Si sarebbe trattato di celebrare la memoria delle vittime prese come ostaggi in occasione delle Olimpiadi Monaco. In definitiva, la proposta è stata respinta, poiché il Comitato Olimpico si è accontentato semplicemente di una discreta cerimonia distinta. In ogni caso, la sfida è quelladi creare una liturgia collettiva che legittimi l’impero globale.

Così, L’innocenza dei musulmani è sia un mezzo di pressione per richiamare all’ordine Washington, tentata dall’allontanarsi dal progetto di dominazione sionista, sia un mezzo per perseguire tale progetto attraverso l’offesa nelle loro credenze di coloro che gli resistono.

Smith was featured on two segments on 60 Minutes in 2010.

60 Minutes detailed his surprising story of near fatal illness with Swine Flu and pneumonia, and the willingness of Auckland Hospital to "pull the plug" on him – kill him – rather than give him Vitamin C.

Vitamin C, especially in high doses, has been a well-known and scientifically accepted anti-viral for many years, and yet Auckland hospital initially refused to administer it, falsely claiming that they had "tried everything" to no avail.

When the hospital, under pressure from the family, finally and RELUCTANTLY administered the vitamin C, Smith began to show a dramatic improvement within days.

Within a few short weeks he was well again.

Unfortunately, Auckland Hospital and many other NZ hospitals seem to have learned nothing from the experience and to this day they actually REFUSE to administer vitamin C to patients presenting with acute viral illnesses such as the flu.

They persistently and falsely claim that there is "no evidence" for the efficacy of vitamin C, but there is, indeed, massive amounts of evidence for it – even in their "peer reviewed" medical literature.

Vitamin C is even a registered medicine in New Zealand.

And yet they initially refused to give it to Allan Smith and they continue to refuse to give it to other people who are ill with viral (or bacterial) illnesses.

And some people reportedly have died as a result of this refusal to even try it!

Were it not for the persistence of Smith's family, he would have died, too.

Whatever the reason for this intransigence in the face of the obvious successes of Vitamin C, the people of New Zealand deserve to have a medical system that is truly evidence-based, and is focused entirely on the best recovery strategies available – rather than one that refuses to acknowledge its mistakes.

Across the board, mistakes such as this one are costing thousands of lives, in that the Medical System itself is now reliably considered to be the third leading cause of death in New Zealand.

Why, we ask, is it so difficult for Auckland Hospital to learn from the case of Allan Smith? Why is so hard to admit that a mistake was made? … and then change a ridiculous policy that is costing lives and public health.

Despite the West’s deliberate inattention to and willful disregard for Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran, there is no denying the fact that the summit has occasioned extreme chagrin in Washington and Israel and that dialogue among civilizations in achieving global peace is still a powerful feasibility.

Just a day prior to the inauguration of the NAM summit, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his typical cynicism and slammed the attendance of high-profile representatives from more than 120 countries at the summit, saying it was “a stain on humanity.” The cause of Netanyahu’s desperate anger is however quite perceptible.

The 16^th NAM Summit which was officially wrapped up in Tehran on Friday concluded a resolution including over 700 clauses. The final resolution which was read out by Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad expressed support for Iran’s nuclear energy program, rejected the US unilateral sanctions against the Islamic Republic, and called for greater efforts to champion the Palestinian cause and stop racial discrimination across the world.

The NAM summit addressed a number of thorny issues which the West misrepresents such as Iran’s nuclear energy program or underrates such as the Palestinian issue and the unauthorized US drone attacks which have so far claimed the lives of many civilians in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia and Yemen.

As an opportunity for the attendees to voice their grievances which have already gripped their nations by the neck, Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar expressed her country’s concern over the illegal drone attacks in Pakistan and urged Washington to immediately put an end to their killing machine in Pakistan.

 “You see Pakistan’s position is clear today and has been clear in the past. Our position is that this is something which is counter-productive. It is unlawful. It is illegal, and therefore they must cease. This is what the parliament of Pakistan has clearly said,” Rabbani Khar said on Wednesday.

However, central to the summit was a pithy speech delivered by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in which he clearly reiterated the official stance of the Islamic Republic on some key issues including nuclear weapons and clarified that Iran has never sought to produce nuclear weapons, will never tread on such a horrendous path and that the pursuance, use and production of such weapons is an unforgivable sin. His deep analysis of Washington’s paradoxical policy deserves due attention. Pointing to “a bitter irony of our era”, Ayatollah Khamenei reinforced the fact that the US government “possesses the largest and deadliest stockpiles of nuclear arms and other weapons of mass destruction and the only country guilty of its use, is today eager to carry the banner of opposition to nuclear proliferation” and that the same regime has armed the usurping Zionist regime with nuclear weapons and created a major threat for this sensitive region.”

In fact, Washington and Tel Aviv are playing in the hands of the devil in their efforts to divide nations and colonize their countries by creating ‘global enemies’ and ruthlessly mobilizing others against them.

In this regard, the NAM Summit can play a vital role in diverting the destructive role of the US government and other bullying powers in pushing ahead with their globalist agendas to a constructive role under the aegis of the NAM members. In countering the effects of a summit of such substantial significance, western media blacked out on truth and refrained from reporting the facts which in one way or another showed their hidden agenda. The media blackout in the West concerning the Summit in Tehran is well tantamount to the blackout of truth and faith, a morbid sign which clearly indicates why global efforts in achieving peace and harmony are eventually pushed into the abyss of failure. In order to shatter the stranglehold of media mafia, head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Ezzatollah Zarghami has suggested the Non-Aligned Movement set up an alternative media bloc. Such an initiative is indeed commendable and is to be considered an efficacious means to counterbalance the media blind bias.

With full conviction, one can sadly say that there are sabotaging hands at work to thwart efforts in striving for global peace in the light of a united leadership. What actually should top the NAM summit in future is to formulate an effective approach in resolving global crisis and struggle to attain an international consensus to reduce Washington’s political influence and self-acclaimed dictatorial leadership. It is time the US stopped playing the guru, and thinking and making decisions for other countries. As a first step, the NAM member states should make efforts to liberate the UN Security Council from its servile captivity to the US and its allies.

A new world order is taking shape. In this new world order, imperialism starts to vanish and the idea of mounting military expeditions under the banner of combating terrorism or dictating western democracy soon evaporates. This idea may be a far cry from the reality but it is not an impossibility. It can be turned into a reality thanks to the power issuing from the collective efforts of all nations. This is exactly what the US-led West fears most and what the world needs most: a united nations will to fly in the face of the wrong and second the right.

       In a few days, the Jewish community of Migron will be demolished. And how do the Jews react? Same as always before a destruction. They write, and write, and write and send futile opinions in bold letters like:

There is something about the case of Migron that should send a shudder down the spine of every Israeli who values liberty!
The real threat to the Jewish state does not come from a small band of pioneers in Migron bravely trying to reclaim our ancestral homeland.It comes from a government that is willing to subvert our property rights and freedom.The road to tyranny begins in Migron. Our responsibility is to ensure that is where it ends.

      But the predictable delusions lead to the pathetic on-line petition which I will not publicize fearing I might lead someone to sign it. Remember this:

        Then we understood why the petition is only in English. Anyone who signs the petition will find his name entered in the passport control computers. As the day of disengagement nears, anyone who signed that petition will be returned home as a radical troublemaker. Already, over 1600 committed Jews and lovers of Israel have been identified. They are now lost to the cause.
        DO NOT SIGN THE PETITION. IT'S A TRAP!
        Come to Israel and join the fight. Just don't announce it or you'll never see the outside of the airport.

    Adding: Once there were three primary protest groups in Israel. There was The Yesha Council, which was nothing more than a tool of the government. Those who know my writing will recall Council head Benzi Liberman testifying at the trial of Avigdor Lieberman that he worked with the police to keep protesters far from Gush Katif. And who will ever forget his partner Pinchas Wallerstein ordering protesters to sap their energy by sleeping outside the Knesset in tents in the midst of Jerusalem's January snowstorms?
    And here we are in 2012, and here it is; another petition to save another in a long line of doomed Jewish communities. And as always, no one organizing the petition will actually go to Migron to stand and fight. No, they're too cowardly for that. It's as if they don't know how the power game actually works. Name another time an Israeli petition has actually succeeded. So who will the petition be sent to: the court, the police, the army? In all cases, any petition but especially one with the expected biblical allusions, is placed unopened in an automatic paper shredder. Or simply, who cares what you think?
    Worse, soldiers from Migron's neighboring communities are so blindsided that they will aid in Migron's destruction even though their homes are in line for subsequent demolition. The government has promised to rebuild Migron's homes and amazingly some residents think the offer is serious, forgetting that the government's Gush Katif compensation never arrived. And how will the refugees react to instant homelessness? With pride, of course.
    While I was dodging army barricades and sneaking into Gush Katif to get the real story out, on the very eve of the destruction where were you petition signers? Why wasting your time at a protest rally in Tel Aviv. WHY WEREN'T YOU IN GAZA? After the evacuation was complete, the residents found themselves in leaky trailer "homes" awaiting compensation that never arrived. The government didn't have the spare cash to rehouse the victims, so it let them wallow in subhuman housing, watching as their families fell apart. I met one such Gush Katif refugee couple after the "evacuation" and they glowingly announced that they were from the remnants of Gush Katif. I wiped the supercilious smiles off their faces with one question: WHY DIDN'T YOU FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR YOUR HOMES?
      And then I wrote:

The Nazis knew how to keep the Jews deluded until the end. They hired kapos to run local Jewish councils. The kapos fed the Jews false hope until they were gathered and shipped away. Of course, that could never happen in Israel? But it did. The new nazis of Israel ran the kapos of the Yesha Council, and the Jews followed them into the ghettos of Kfar Maimon and Ofakim where they were safely trapped behind enemy lines.
     The new kapos with names like Wallerstein and Aviner pretended to be leading a rebellion, but they were really collaborating with the authorities. They pretended to back civil disobedience so long as no one was hurt or any damage caused. And that's just what the authorities asked them to do.
     However, the task was made so much easier by the religious leaders who instilled a sense of fatalism, laziness and superstition among their congregants. Well over 200,000 prayed at the Western Wall five days before the rape of Gush Katif. Almost a quarter of a million G-d-fearing Jews prayed for the salvation of Gush Katif at the grounds of Judaism's holiest site.
     They all wasted their breath. Their prayers weren't answered. G-d was not interested in Gush Katif.
     And why should He be? Why should He have anything to do with a people who won't fight for His land and their homes? Why should He have anything to do with a people who forego responsibility because they believe, actually believe, that a miracle is going to bail them out? Or that the moshiach will come and sort things out for them?    
     Well, no miracle saved Gush Katif, and still no signs of the moshiach.
     If I was the moshiach I sure wouldn't want anything to do with this sorry lot. The depths of their delusion is beyond easy comprehension but let us look at one example.
     TWO days after the enemy felled Gush Katif, I saw a group of young men handing out pamphlets to save the place, in a Modiin shopping center. I asked them, "What are you doing? It's over." One replied, "It is not over. We can still sway public opinion."
     Briefly stunned, I retorted, "This crappy public abandoned you. You are finished."
     Reality returned and the young man asked, "So what can we do?"
     There is only one out. "Find a sympathetic army officer or two and take over the Knesset."
     I wasn't kidding. But they laughed. And they will laugh and laugh until they have nothing left to find funny anymore.
     And that's what the protesters were up to for the past year. They were gathering by the tens of thousands outside the Knesset laughing and dancing to tuneless Arieh Zilber songs. They danced their homes away. No one actually thought to pass out a thousand wirecutters, an equal number of Mace cans, and stage a sit-in inside the Knesset. Nah, they were too busy being Sioux Ghost Dancers to actually take action. Why bother with action anyway when a last second miracle is on the way?
     Two days before the fascist troops moved into Gush Katif, there was a rally where more than
200,000 people showed up. Where was it? In Tel Aviv. Not near the Gush Katif prisoners? Of course not. 200,000 could have actually overwhelmed the forces and made withdrawal unfeasible. And that was not what the kapos of the Yesha Council wanted.
     And guess what question I heard a hundred times from a hundred people that night? "Do you think the withdrawal will go through?" They still hadn't caught on.
     After the deluge, a friend of mine told me she had spent the day helping the Gush Katif refugees, bringing them food and setting up their computers. I asked her, "Are you nuts? You're not helping them, you're helping the 'government' of Israel. They got them into this mess, now they can get them out of it. Learn from the Arabs already. Do not rehabilitate the refugees. If you do, within a short time you'll solve their plight and the authorities will be free to make more thousands homeless."
     But more to the point: Screw You Gush Katif. You Let Us All Down
     The night before the troops advanced, what did Gush Katif do? Put up barricades for a showdown?
Raze all properties so the mafia of the CFR and Israeli 'government' would not rob you of your life's work? Prepare helmets and Mace to fight the fascists? Chain yourself to your properties?
      Nah. You danced.
      The fathers of Gush Katif weren't prepared to defend their homes. No sir. They sent their teenage children to the battle front. And from now on those brave wonderful kids will lose all respect for their cowardly fathers. Not a life was lost for the Gush, not a soul injured. The Jews walked into the cattle cars with their hands up.
      Because of the Gush Katif cakewalk, Adolph Sharon will send his shock troops of the New World Order through all of Yesha, and that means Jerusalem too, at a blitzkrieg pace. Shame on Gush Katif.
      Shame on Gush Katif.
      And shame on the leaders of the protests, the Feiglins, the Matars et al for being too dumb to know who they were fighting. For playing the 'government's' game by the 'government's' rules. Shame on them all for leading their followers straight into the authorities' traps. Shame on them for organizing futile seminars, hopeless rallies and political dreams instead of studying and understanding the enemy, then confronting him on even terms. And that goes double for the writers and "intellectuals" who reacted to the onslaught with bad information and worse advice.
      I gave a lecture to a large crowd in Jerusalem on Aug. 18. Before it began, I was advised not to say, 'I told you so.' I restrained myself because I failed just like everyone else. The difference is, I worked almost entirely alone. I didn't have large financiers putting up my yeshiva, buying my ambulances or dedicating my community center.
      For all of you who did so in Gush Katif...
      You lost all your money, suckers. Every penny is gone. Your contributions will soon be houses for terrorists and resorts for crooks. AND you deserved to lose it because you didn't invest one nickel in self-defence.
      I tried to organize a protest last week. In it, current and former IDF soldiers would meet and burn our uniforms. No statement could be stronger today. By endangering loyalty to the IDF, people might see that they are being personally endangered by the consequences of these pullouts. I got precisely
6 people to agree to join me. Meanwhile, I received a lot more letters telling me not to blame the soldiers. They were only following orders.
      Remember the good old days when Jews scoffed at Germans who claimed they were only following orders? This army could have stood down, but it behaved as good nazis do and obeyed immoral orders. Things were so absurd that soldiers living in Gush Katif voluntarily turned over their weapons to the army. Worse yet, soldiers whose families live in Yesha helped clear out Gush Katif. At least the nazis didn't "disengage" whole German towns.
       The Jews of Yesha let the 'government' shut down its radio station,  Arutz Sheva, without a whimper. What remains is a weekly newsmagazine called B'Sheva. It has been pushing the Yesha Council/miracle line for a year. After the demise of their beloved Gush Katif, what was their analysis?
The headline read, "The Rip in Israeli Society Begins."
       The delusions just won't stop. There is no rip. You guys lost. Your community will be rendered tiny and harmless, your children will mostly join in Sabbatean Israeli society, while some will seek refuge among the haredim. But you are through. You are about to fall like dominoes because you let yourselves lose.
        And it's way too late for you to figure out how.

     Now reread but replace Gush Katif with Migron.

Shimon Peres loves a trip to Rome to visit The Colosseum, The Forum, the great cafes but most of all, he loves to visit his boss, the Pope. After he poisoned Ariel Sharon into a comatose zombie, he took over the Number Two spot in his party, Kadima. And just six days after Kadima took over the Israeli government, he flew to Rome to visit the holy padre, or as he calls him, papa.

Now, as the new Presidente of Israel, his first diplomatic trip abroad will be to Rome to get his last marching orders from the big don, Papa.

So long Israel, hello our Vatican home.

The foreign forces want Hebron busted for good and the "settlers" are handing it to them on a papal platter with barely a whimper. I can't look at the slow end of Israel anymore. If the "settlers" want to give up their homes, well what's it our business anymore? Give them their wish. No no one rushed to Hebron to save their religion, homes and lives. The settlers let still another of their last remaining homes fall like Gush Katif and Northern Samaria.

So, let them fall. Hello, my Roman adobe. Be it ever so humble, there's no place like Rome.

Do all roads lead Peres to Rome?

Beit Hanassi would neither confirm nor deny on Sunday a Maariv report that President Shimon Peres plans to make his first trip abroad as president in September and visit Rome.

The report said that Peres planned to spend four days in Italy, during which he would hold talks with President Giorgio Napolitano and Prime Minister Romano Prodi, as well as with Pope Benedict XVI.

If Peres were to go to Rome, he would likely participate in an international conference that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa are also expected to attend.

Despite a heavily crowded calendar, President Shimon Peres will travel to Rome on September 5, Beit Hanassi confirmed on Monday. Peres, who used to travel abroad as often as two or three times in a single week, has not left the country since assuming the presidency.

Peres will remain in Italy till September 9, during which time he will meet with the Pope, the Italian prime minister, and Italian Jewish leaders. 

In the course of his visit Peres will address a mega-meeting of the Jewish community in the Great Synagogue of Rome. According to Beit Hanassi, the event will be a celebration of Italian Jewry's good wishes on the eve of Rosh Hashana for the State of Israel.
